The Wilmington Chamber of Commerce provides several banner ads throughout our web site for member businesses. This is an exciting opportunity for you to tap into our web audience and increase traffic to your site.

Banners are changed on the first week of each month. Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis, and may be limited in duration, based on demand.

The cost of a one-month banner is $30.

We're presently offering these specials when you purchase more than one month:

$55.00 for TWO consecutive months
$100 for FOUR consecutive months

Ads placed on our home page may be higher in cost, due to demand: contact us for more information.

Rates may increase without notice; contact us for current pricing. We cannot gurantee availability for either the month or page you desire until payment is received.

Creating your Banner Ad

Banners must be prepared in GIF format.
Resolution must be a maximum of 72 dpi.
Size must be 3 inches wide by 1.5 inches high.
Animated files are permitted, but should be limited to a minimum file size in order to allow our site to display at maximum speed (we'll contact you if there's any problem).

Suggestions

Banners work best when you link them directly to your web site address. If you presently do not have a web site, the banner can be linked to your e-mail address. When sending us the banner file, inform us of the URL or e-mail address for the link.
Banners are most successful when they contain time-critical information (for example, lawn care services during summer months, greeting cards during the holidays, floral services during Valentine's Day, etc.), so schedule your banner when it's most appropriate for your business.
Because we feel this is such a great offer, it may be wise to consider booking the months you'd like as early as possible.
