Membership
Committee
The Chamber's most
active committee meets the first Wednesday of each
month. Members of this committee work to strengthen
the membership of our Chamber. They assist by
encouraging others to join the Chamber, thereby
improving the diversity of our group. In addition,
the committee focuses on developing and enhancing
membership services.
As an Ambassador of
the Chamber, you have a unique opportunity to contact
new and existing businesses in the Wilmington area.
This committee also develops new and creative
value-added programs for our members, and is
responsible for maintaining our web site. We're
always looking for new committee members, so why not
get involved! Contact us for more information.
Events
Committee
Do you like to plan
events, use your creativity and take pride in
presenting a successful event? If so, then the Events
Committee is right for you! This committee provides
support for Chamber events and works to assure event
quality and attendance. Each year, this committee
proposes an annual event to the Board where members
can promote their business, either through
sponsorship or active participation. Whether it's a
golf tournament, business expo or other exciting
event, you'll enjoy working on these activities! Contact
us for more
information on becoming a committee member.
School-to-Career
Program
Help grow your future
workforce and enhance your primary employee pool!
This committee involves students in the business
sector though its mentorship program, and initiates
collaborative efforts to support the Wilmington
School District. For more information, contact Mike Nee at the Wilmington High School.
