Committees

Membership Committee. The Chamber's most active committee works to strengthen the membership of our Chamber. They assist by encouraging local businesses to join the Chamber, thereby improving the diversity of our group. The committee focuses on developing and enhancing membership services. This committee also develops value-added programs for our members.

Events Committee. Do you like to plan events, use your creativity and take pride in presenting a successful event? If so, then the Events Committee is right for you! This committee provides support for Chamber events and works to assure event quality and attendance. Whether it's a golf tournament, business expo or other exciting event, you'll enjoy working on these activities!

School-to-Career Program. Help grow your future workforce and enhance your primary employee pool! This committee
involves students in the business sector though its mentorship program, and initiates collaborative efforts to support the Wilmington School District.

Speakers Bureau/Mentor Program. If you have a topic or issue that you feel would benefit our members, if you're interested in presenting to other local service groups, or if you would like to add your expertise to our growing list of mentors for fellow members, please contact us to learn more about how you can participate in or set up Chamber meetings.

Human Resources Roundtable. This committee discusses topics directly relevant to the employment process. Our
Roundtable is open to representatives from any member company who have decision-making responsibilities in the HR sector.
